Join us for an exciting adventure! Young’s Island is a man made dredge spoil island about half a mile long located in Stony Brook Harbor, running parallel to Sand Street Beach. It serves as nesting grounds for many species of migratory shorebirds. Since the only way to access the area is by boat, we’ll be kayaking over to Youngs Island where we will conduct a beach cleanup. Spaces are limited, first come, first serve!

 

WHAT TO BRING/FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS:

    • Clothing: water wicking clothing, water shoes
    • Hat/sunscreen/bugspray
    • Water bottle & snack
