Community Supported Agriculture

Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, allows members of the community to help farmers steward the land by paying upfront for a share of the harvest. All of our produce is grown without the use of any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.

Birdsfoot Farm CSA Members will choose one day to pick up regularly. The pick up window for all our CSA programs is either Wednesdays from 9:00am – 2:00pm OR Saturdays from 9:00am – 2:00pm. We ask that you adhere to your chosen pick up day as we will be harvesting your share the same morning of pick up. If you completely miss a pick up, your share will either be reutilized, fed to the chickens, or added to our compost pile. Nothing is wasted here!

There are limited shares available and requests will be honored on a first come first served basis.

CSA Member Information & Expectations

By joining our CSA, you’re becoming part of the Birdsfoot Farm community for the season.

You’re purchasing a weekly portion of the farm’s harvest in advance and helping support the farm’s work throughout the growing season. Your investment at the start of the season directly supports seed purchases, supplies, and other early costs that keep the farm running when it needs it most.

As a CSA member, you share in both the abundance and the challenges of farming. Weather, pests, and other factors can affect crop yields from week to week. When the season is plentiful, we celebrate that bounty together!

Each week, you’re responsible for picking up your share during one of the scheduled distribution times – Wednesday or Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm.  Any shares not collected during those times are forfeited for the week.

We, the farmers, are committed to providing a diverse and plentiful share each week throughout the growing season. We care deeply about thoughtful land stewardship and organic growing practices, and we do our best to make each week’s harvest a rewarding one.

While on the property, we ask that all members follow the farm speed limit of 10mph and use extreme caution while driving your vehicle in and out of the farm. Staff and other members come and go constantly, so please look twice before you step on the pedal!

Our parking area in front of the greenhouse can get quite full at times. If you cannot find a spot, please park in an orderly fashion that does not hinder the flow of traffic coming in or out of the farm. Please do not park at the top of the driveway where everyone enters and exits the farm.

Your support makes this community possible. Thank you for helping Birdsfoot Farm grow!
