Fall Planting Day @ Kings Park Library

October 18 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please note, this event is for registered for Nature Initiative members only. To learn more about our youth program, click here.

We’ll be heading to some of the native habitat gardens in the surrounding community to do a fall cleanup and new plantings. Due to having the assistance of our hard-working volunteers over the years, library visitors and staff are always excited to see these beautiful blooming flowers attracting wildlife right outside their windows. Fall is a great time to put new plants into the ground so they can pop up with the warming weather in the spring! Come pitch in to help us maintain these expansive gardens in our community!

WHAT TO BRING/FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Clothing that may get a little dirty for gardening, closed toed shoes/sneakers
  • Sunglasses/hat/sunscreen
  • Water bottle
