Each year, the Setauket Harbor Task Force hosts its own Harbor Day as a means of educating the public about improving water quality, enhancing community access, discussing scientific studies, and how to protect and conserve this resilient ecosystem. The Nature Initiative group will have a table this year highlighting our Shellfish Restoration Project. We will also have a seining activity to see what types of critters we can find! If you enjoy talking to the public about what we do, come on down!
**Volunteers are welcome to sign up for a half day or full day since this is a longer event. If you are doing a half day, please email me with the time frame (10:30 AM-1:00 PM or 12:30 PM-3:00 PM) you would like to attend for after signing up.**
