Birdsfoot Farm CSA
Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, allows members of the community to help farmers steward the land by paying upfront for a share of the harvest. Read here about our four different CSA programs as well as our two spring add-ons for those customers who wish to get an early start! All of our produce is grown without the use of any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.
Birdsfoot Farm CSA Members will choose one day to pick up regularly. The pickup window for all our CSA programs is either Wednesdays from 9-2 OR Saturdays from 9-2. If you are unable to make it to the pick up, please send someone to pick up for you. We ask that you adhere to your chosen pickup day as we will be harvesting your share the same morning of pickup. If you completely miss a pickup, your share will either be reutilized, fed to the chickens, or added to our compost pile. Nothing is wasted here!
There are limited shares available and requests will be honored on a first come first served basis.
Stay tuned for updates on our 2026 CSA season!

Vegetable
Full share members select 6-8 items from a predetermined list posted in our farmstand and half share members will select 4-6 items from the same list. An item may be a head of lettuce, one pound of heirloom tomatoes or a bunch of fresh salad turnips. Throughout the season the selection will eb and flow with what is being harvested from our no-till gardens. Please note that the Vegetable CSA is 18 weeks long.

Flower
Our flower share includes a bunch of premium stems grown and harvested from our no till gardens. An example may be a straight bunch of tulips or a straight bunch of dahlias. Some weeks we may offer a soft mix bouquet which may include foxglove, orlaya, stock and ranunculus. All our flowers are picked at their peak readiness to maximize their vase life. Please note that the Flower CSA is 18 weeks long.

Egg
Members will take home one dozen eggs each week. Our egg laying hens are fed organic feed, encouraged to forage and scratch around exhibiting their natural tendencies. Like all our livestock our hens are rotated on pasture, which helps to improve our soil ecosystem but also enhances their own quality of life. Please note that the Egg CSA is 18 weeks long. *We are also offering ½ shares for customers who would like to pick up eggs every other week.

Poultry
Every other week members will receive one broiler chicken raised and processed right on the farm. These broiler chickens are rotated on pasture for ten weeks where they are fed organic feed and encouraged to display their natural tendencies. We aim for our birds to weigh approximately five and a half pounds. Please note that the Poultry CSA is 18 weeks long. Poultry CSA members will receive a total of nine birds. *We are also offering ½ shares for customers who would like to pick up once per month. Please note that ½ share Poultry CSA members will receive a total of four birds.

Spring Flower
Spring Flower CSA members will take home a bouquet of stems grown and harvested from our no till gardens. Please note that the start date for this spring add-on has not been determined but we aim to begin mid-April. Spring Flower CSA members will receive 6 bouquets.

Spring Egg
Spring Egg CSA members will take home one dozen eggs each week. Please note that Spring Egg CSA members will receive nine dozen eggs.
