We’ll be out in the preserve for another survey which will consist of us splitting into smaller groups. There will be 3 locations in the preserve: one group will monitor the front entrance, one group at the East Farm Preserve and a third group at the parking lot on Shep Jones Lane. You will have clickers and data sheets to compile a count of visitors.

We are hoping to conduct these surveys for the next several months and could use your help. Its not one of our most physically demanding projects, but a satisfying and impactful one. Come enjoy the preserve, have some conversation, and relax for an afternoon while gathering some useful data. Our security staff are very grateful to be able to have volunteers for this effort!

We will be meeting at the Avalon Barn located on Shep Jones Lane in Stony Brook.
