Come join us on a day off to help put down mulch around the dogwood trees, spread some leaf litter onto the flower beds in the pollinator garden, and tend to some unwanted plants in the newly marked meadow habitat. If we have some extra time, we’ll take a walk through the park and down to the bridge by Setauket Mill Pond to look for basking turtles and any other wildlife.
Frank Melville is a beautiful & local preserve that we’ve done a lot of restoration work with and their always very appreciative for our volunteers! We will be meeting in the parking lot of the Bates House.
