Who says you can’t still garden in the winter? We’ll be taking the native seeds that we collected from our fields and plant them into trays. These seeds will need to undergo a process called cold stratification so that they will germinate in the spring/summer. Another fun portion of this project will include making seed balls out of mud which makes a great gift for the holiday season!
We will be meeting at the Avalon barn located on Shep Jones Lane.
What to bring/further instructions:
- Warm layers (in case we go for a short walk)
- Water bottle
