We will head to the Azalea walk trail at Frank Melville (adjacent to the Bates House) to clear any vines/invasives, make brush piles and tidy it up for spring! For the last few years we’ve been helping to maintain this trail and we’ve even extended it to the pond! A lot of visitors spend time walking along this area to enjoy the beautiful blooms of azaleas and rhododendrons. We will be meeting in the parking lot of the Bates House.

WHAT TO BRING/FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS:

• Long clothing that might get a little dirty (long sleeves/long pants)
• Sneakers with high socks (ticks will be a concern- we will be going off trail!)
• Garden gloves
• Binoculars (optional)
• Water bottle
