Stop by our organic veggie garden and lend a hand in trimming, maintaining, pulling pesky weeds and harvesting some fruits/vegetables while enjoying conversation with others! A great way to check on our the progress of our plants grown from seed and learning more about growing our own food! We have plenty of mint, oregano, chives and lettuce, just bring a bag if you’d like to take some home!
We will be meeting at the Avalon barn located on Shep Jones Lane in Stony Brook.
WHAT TO BRING/FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS:
- Sunglasses/hat/sunscreen
- Water bottle
- A reusable bag to harvest veggies
