We have a unique opportunity to help pull water lettuce and water hyacinth out of the pond at Frank Melville Memorial Park. These plants will quickly spread, forming dense mats at the surface of the pond which will then block sunlight and crowd out native species. Join us as we get in our kayaks and do a pull at the pond!

What to bring/further instructions:

• Clothing: Please wear water resistant clothing or something that might get a little wet and layer up- it will feel colder on the water then on land! You can always bring a change of shoes but I would recommend water shoes or something similar to kayak, sneakers will get wet.
