Who says you can’t still garden in the winter? We’ll be taking the native seeds that we separated and planting them into trays. These seeds will need to undergo a process called cold stratification so that they will germinate in the spring/summer. Now is a great time to blanket these little seeds with soil and wish them luck. Another fun portion of this project will include making seed balls out of mud which makes a great gift for the holiday season!
We will be meeting at the Avalon barn located on Shep Jones Lane.
**Attention: This event will be taking place in the maintenance area of the barn which is located indoors. Masks must be worn at all times.
