There is nothing better than cooking over a campfire in the winter. Back by popular demand, we’ll have one more cookout and night hike for the cold season. Kick off the winter break by connecting with friends, enjoying some treats and venturing through the trails of Avalon in the darkness of the night. We never know what types of wildlife we’ll hear or see!

We’ll organize the cookout as a potluck, meaning each volunteer will be asked to bring a small item (food or drink) to contribute. We’ll be meeting at the Avalon Barn located on Shep Jones Lane in Stony Brook.

 

WHAT TO BRING/FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS:

• Please dress warm and wear layers
• Hiking boots or sneakers
• Flashlight or head lamp (I’ll have extra)
• Water bottle
