Did you know that our waters are home to 5 species of seals? Well that is vacation homes since they are migratory, our winters feels like summer to them! Join the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society “AMSEAS” biologists for a seal cruise around Shinnecock Bay. They will be on board photographing these marine mammals, recording species distribution data, as well as teaching you all about the different species of seals in our waters, their behaviors and how we can help conserve them. You will also have the pleasure of seeing these animals in their natural environment.
This is an open-weather cruise, so please dress warmly. Boarding for the cruise starts 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Please arrive on time as the cruise will depart promptly. The cruise will last about 2 hours.
