Native Habitat Garden at the Smithtown Library

June 10, 2022 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Please note, this event is for registered for Nature Initiative members only. To learn more about our youth program, click here.

We will continue our efforts to help do a spring cleanup at our local community gardens. The library branches count on the assistance of our hard working volunteers and visitors and staff are always impressed by how beautiful the blooms are! We will work with Joy from Four Harbors Audubon to do some redesigning, transplanting, pruning and planting. Everything we use is native which will serve to attract wildlife from butterflies and bees to birds! We will take a break to do some nature journaling and observe which insect visitors we get at the garden.

Join us for an afternoon outside at the Smithtown Library Main Branch located on N Country Road in Smithtown.
