Native Habitat Garden at Sunken Meadow

September 1 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Please note, this event is for registered for Nature Initiative members only. To learn more about our youth program, click here.

We will continue our efforts to help do a Fall cleanup at our local community gardens. The Parks Dept at Sunken Meadow counts on the assistance of our hard working volunteers and visitors and staff are always impressed by how beautiful the blooms are! We will work with Joy from Four Harbors Audubon to do some redesigning, transplanting, pruning and planting. Everything we use is native which will serve to attract wildlife from butterflies and bees to birds! We will take a short beach walk at the end and see what we find!

We will be meeting at Sunken Meadow State Park located in Kings Park.

WHAT TO BRING/FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS:
