Come join us as we tackle garlic mustard, an easy to pull invasive plant species that is widespread throughout the park. At this time of the year it starts to develop seed pods, which is a primary way of re-populating. We will wrap up by trying a pesto recipe that can be made from our harvest of these invasives (YUM!)
Frank Melville is a beautiful & local preserve that we’ve done a lot of restoration work with and their always very appreciative for our volunteers! We will be meeting in the parking lot of the Bates House.
