Join us for an introductory hike as we walk the borders of the fields/meadows, pass by freshwater kettle pools, and enjoy the overlook of the Long Island Sound from the bluff.

What to bring/further instructions:

• Please dress warm and wear layers
• Hiking boots or sneakers with high socks (in case ticks are of concern)
• Bug spray (I will have extra)
• Hat/sunglasses
• Water bottle/snack
• Binoculars (if you have)

The David Weld Sanctuary has a very small parking area with 6 spots. There is no parking or standing on the roadside allowed and it is regularly monitored. The gates to the parking lot open at 9:00 AM, so because of this please arrive between 9:00 AM-9:10 AM so that you can drop off without waiting on the road.
