You asked, I listened! There are many native/invasive plants in the landscape at Avalon (and in our local area) which are edible- Japanese wineberry, pink staghorn sumac, garlic mustard, prickly pear cactus and more! Nature not only surrounds us with great beauty but with a variety of useful benefits and resources (for our wild critters too). Come learn more as we go on a walk to collect some of these plants and whip up a new recipe! We will use any of the veggies/fruits/herbs available in Arcadia as well. We will be meeting at the Avalon Barn located on Shep Jones Lane.
*Do not try to forage on your own at home unless you are 100% certain the berry/plant type you collected is the exact one you are looking for!
