The fall season is the perfect time to plant and the native habitat garden at Sweetbriar is in need! Joy from the Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary & Audubon Center has been growing out native seedlings for restoring community gardens and they are ready to go! Come join us for planting, some light weeding and mulching the garden.

We will meet at Sweetbriar Nature Center located on Eckernkamp Drive in Smithtown.

 

What to bring/further instructions:

• Clothing: long pants, high socks (in case of ticks/posion ivy), sneakers – clothing may get a little dirty
• Water bottle
• Hat/bugspray/sunscreen
