Turtle babies are hatching and Nancy from the Friends of Flax Pond will be working with us to release them into the marsh on the creek side of the walking path at West Meadow Beach. We need volunteers to help photograph, weigh, measure, and notch the shells of the hatchlings. Then we’ll send them on their way wishing them a safe journey! We will be meeting at the start of the walking path at the end of Trustees Road.

What to bring/further instructions:

• Clothing: closed toed shoes/sneakers, long pants (in case of ticks/poison ivy in the marsh)
• Water bottle
• Hat/sunglasses/sunscreen
