The Avalon Observatories house several permanently mounted telescopes and are used in conjunction with educational programs here at Avalon. These include observing and imaging a variety of celestial objects and events including sunspots and solar flares. The permanent Avalon Observatory enclosures allow us to make telescopes available on a moment’s notice and help us provide more frequent viewing opportunities.
